Opening: We have been called to minister through teaching! Some of us we felt spiritually led to teach. Some of us were recruited to fill a need - and we accepted! Some of us volunteered when we saw a place to contribute. Some of us stumbled into teaching. Some of us feel responsible to the community. The call to teach comes in various ways – we are here because we have answered the call! Welcome. Check-in: How are you today? Topic/Activity: How and why did you become a teacher (assistant) in a Unitarian Universalist religious education program? When did you begin – 'officially' or informally? What difference does it make to think of yourself as being 'called' to teach? How can teaching deepen your spiritual development? Closing words: The response to the invitation to teach becomes an expression of commitment to the continuation of our faith tradition. Likes and Wishes: How did the session go for you?
