2009 The 25th anniversary of Charlie Howard's death. Special Program
July 10-12, 2009

Bill Carlin, Bangor UU proposed that there be a special program in
his memory of Charlie Howard on the occasion of the 25th
anniversary of his death. Sue McKay, a skilled leader, is holding
monthly planning meetings with members of our church, Hammond Street
Congregational and members of the community.
A
gathering is being planned in Bangor the weekend of July 10-12, 2009,
with a program of two or three workshops, dancing, singing,
camaraderie and laughter. Those who knew Charlie say he would
approve.
The program will
conclude with a Sunday service conducted by Rev. Rich Forcier, who
was the Unitarian minister, at the time of Charlie's death, and the
traditional walk to the bridge.
